The 2008 Ford Bullitt Mustang was produced on the 40th anniversary of the original Steve McQueen Bullitt film version. In many respects this one had many more similarities to original than did the 2001 remake. For a start its powerful muscle car build style is more reminiscent of the 1968 model. A bigger body can pack more horsepower and the fusion with the modern Ford Racing technology provides a car that looks and sounds like a Bullitt Mustang should sound.

If you going to add some power to a stock chassis then you need to upgrade the suspension and brakes and give it some rubber to stick to the road. Talking of rubber that was one thing the original film film was noted for, burning rubber round the streets of San Francisco.  Anyway all these things have been done on the 2008 Bullitt Mustang. So all that remains is the colour and trim to give that authentic Bullitt look and feel.
